Blakely is one...I can not believe it. We celebrated with friends and family on her actual birthday (1-23). Pink and Green polka dot was the theme...and of course...I had to throw in her monogram here and there. She was so happy all day. We asked everyone to NOT bring gifts...this was a day to celebrate the life of our precious little girl...she did get a few things...which she loved. Thanks to everyone for a great day!

Finally walking
Blakely has been taking steps for a few weeks now but I would not say it was actually walking...she would take about 5 steps and then start to crawl...after her party on Saturday she is pretty much walking everywhere...she will still crawl ever now and then but she will get back up and start walking! Oh no....the fun begins!

Blakely is ONE
Dear Blakely,
I cannot believe that one year ago...we were nervous and excited to know the gender of the baby inside my tummy. Not to mention...would God give me enough love to love another baby. Within seconds of the doctor placing you in my arms...my heart lept with joy and I felt my heart grow bigger that instant...It was filled with all the love I have for you and your big brother. This year has been so much fun. You gave us a run for our money for a few months in there..from 2 months to 4 months, you struggled with formula and what your tummy wanted and could handle..after figuring all that out...you have been such a happy baby! Words cannot explain how lucky I am to be your mother. Your smile is contagious...and you light up the room when you walk in. Your little personality has come out so much! Unlike your brother, you do not go straight to someone...you like to really check them out and you will talk and look at them...but leaving with them is another story. You really like being with mama (and that is alright with me)! I thank God each day for blessing me with two beautiful children who are healthy. You and Brock are my world and I love you each so much!
Blakely, I am still tickled PINK that God decided to give you to us. You complete our family in so many ways. I love that you are such a girly girl. Even at one, you love your pocketbook, necklaces, and babydolls. You love trying to put on any one's clothes to dress up. You love to accessorize and you can spot some jewelry on someone within seconds. I love your kisses and smiles and I look forward to many more fun times together...I love you so much and I hope you realize just how much you light up my world!
i love you to the moon and back

Purple purse and accessories from Graham....This has become Blakely's favorite gift...she carries it around the house and loves putting her lipstick on and using her debit card...
she is such a girlie girl~Thanks, Aunt Kari and Uncle Eric
it and I know this is something she will enjoy for quite some time....she is still trying
to get the hang that her feet make her move...
Stocking time!
On December 26, we all headed to Dunn, NC to celebrate Christmas with Nana and Papa and Aunt Kari, Uncle Eric, and Graham. We had fun eating and catching up....and playing. Brock and Blakely loved playing with Graham...he is growing up too fast! Thanks everyone for all our gifts....we loved everything! Hugs and Kisses to all.

Christmas Morning
This is what Santa left for Blakely (plus her kitchen)
Brock really racked up...was he that good???
ZHU ZHU pets...the toy of the season...
Our tree!
Christmas morning was filled with excitement around the Hundley house. Santa definitely came....and took some nibbles off of his cookies. Blakely loved her kitchen and Brock loved all his toys...it was raining so he did not get to shoot any hoops on his new basketball goal. Essie, Ellen, Bobby, Christian and Robert came by for breakfast and a few mimosas and bloody marys (this menu has become tradition at our house)...our oven blew up on Christmas eve so Essie came to the rescue and helped cook. Thanks so much. We were glad Santa was able to find us at our rental house (Alice and Nicky's)....Brock loved tracking Santa online and knowing exactly when the sleigh was being packed, etc. This was definitely a magic-filled year....and Blakely seemed to jump right in and know exactly what to do!
Merry Christmas!
Christmas Eve
We went to church as we ALWAYs do on Christmas Eve. I have gone to church on Christmas eve for as long as I can remember. If we had a Christmas Eve service, I have been there. It is special to me to be at my church on Christmas eve with my entire family. It makes us all remember the true meaning of the season. Then....we went out to Alice and Nicky's....visited with lots of family and friends. Brock was one of the only little boys and he was anxious to head home to go to bed and get up for Santa so we did not stay too long. Once we were home, we put out our cookies for Santa and headed to bed. A few picture opportunities before heading to bed...Oh, and we put out reindeer food for the Santa's reindeer.
