Purple purse and accessories from Graham....This has become Blakely's favorite gift...she carries it around the house and loves putting her lipstick on and using her debit card...
she is such a girlie girl~Thanks, Aunt Kari and Uncle Eric

Speed Racer game from Nana and Papa....Brock was thrilled!

Musical Pony from Nana and Papa....Graham wanted to check out Blakely's new toy...She loves
it and I know this is something she will enjoy for quite some time....she is still trying
to get the hang that her feet make her move...

Stocking time!
On December 26, we all headed to Dunn, NC to celebrate Christmas with Nana and Papa and Aunt Kari, Uncle Eric, and Graham. We had fun eating and catching up....and playing. Brock and Blakely loved playing with Graham...he is growing up too fast! Thanks everyone for all our gifts....we loved everything! Hugs and Kisses to all.

Christmas Morning

(The Zhu pets loved Blakely and she l0ved them!)

Checking for sleigh tracks!

This is what Santa left for Blakely (plus her kitchen)

Brock really racked up...was he that good???

ZHU ZHU pets...the toy of the season...

Our tree!

Christmas morning was filled with excitement around the Hundley house. Santa definitely came....and took some nibbles off of his cookies. Blakely loved her kitchen and Brock loved all his toys...it was raining so he did not get to shoot any hoops on his new basketball goal. Essie, Ellen, Bobby, Christian and Robert came by for breakfast and a few mimosas and bloody marys (this menu has become tradition at our house)...our oven blew up on Christmas eve so Essie came to the rescue and helped cook. Thanks so much. We were glad Santa was able to find us at our rental house (Alice and Nicky's)....Brock loved tracking Santa online and knowing exactly when the sleigh was being packed, etc. This was definitely a magic-filled year....and Blakely seemed to jump right in and know exactly what to do!
Merry Christmas!

Christmas Eve

We went to church as we ALWAYs do on Christmas Eve. I have gone to church on Christmas eve for as long as I can remember. If we had a Christmas Eve service, I have been there. It is special to me to be at my church on Christmas eve with my entire family. It makes us all remember the true meaning of the season. Then....we went out to Alice and Nicky's....visited with lots of family and friends. Brock was one of the only little boys and he was anxious to head home to go to bed and get up for Santa so we did not stay too long. Once we were home, we put out our cookies for Santa and headed to bed. A few picture opportunities before heading to bed...Oh, and we put out reindeer food for the Santa's reindeer.

Blakely is 11 months old

Time flies when you having fun. Looking back from last month...not much has changed. Seems like most of the things you were doing last month....you are still doing but a little better and with more coordination.
-we still think you will walk anyday now...
-on the same schedule as last month...however, you are liking less and less formula and wanting eat more and more...plus eating more and more solids...did I mention you love to eat. We cannot sit down to eat without you trying to get a nibble of what is on our plate. You will beg like a dog for whatever is available. One day, Brock left his Pop Tart and water on the coffee table when he left for school and before I could get there to move it...you were standing up at the coffee table eating the Pop Tart and sucking the water out of his Roaring Water juice box.
-getting more and more coordinated.
-You still love Baby dolls...went shopping one day at Toys R us and walked down the baby aisle and you went bonkers...saying.."Baabee, Baabee"..everyone thought it was so cute...I think we may be in trouble.
-you have loved jewelry since you were little but actually love putting on dress up necklaces.
-You still love to dance...the Rockettes were on the Today show one day...and you went fool watching them and dancing along with the music on TV..
-have been waving Bye-bye but you will now wave bye and say bye-bye...so cute!
-went to the ENT and they recommended you get tubes in both ears...after much discussion, we decided to make the appointment and do ahead with it...you have had 5 ear infections and had fluid on your ears the day we saw the ENT.
Started liking baths a little more...decided you do not like water in your eyes or face so we try to avoid this and you are OK.
-still love your paci, blanket, and toys.
-getting more and more hair...look so cute in your bows.
-love your bubba...we call him bubba around you or bubby...we need to stop because we have actually caught you saying bubba a few times.
-you still have your top 2 nicknames...Beezie and Beez...however I often call you and Brock BB.

I cannot believe the next milestone is one! Hopefully this month will go slower than the last 10 but I doubt it. You are growing up too fast. I absolutely love you and Brock. I never thought I could love another child after my first but I was soo wrong..I have so much love for you both. Brock is my special big boy and You are my little princess. Just as I love playing games and riding bikes with Brock, I enjoy doing all the girlie things with you. Love you Beez!

Rogers, Kimberly and Margaret came to Kingstree the weekend before Christmas (Dec. 19-20) to open gifts and visit. We ate at Essie's house on Saturday (oyster Rockefeller casserole was top notch!)and opened gifts. That night, we went over to Ellen and Bobby's for the Birchwood Christmas parade (then drinks and snacks). On Sunday, we celebrated Harrell Christmas out at Nicky and Alice's. We had a fun weekend and loved seeing all our cousins!
